Psychology
I am a registered Psychologist with over 20 years’ experience and a certified Sound Healing Practitioner trained through Sound Healing Academy International. I work with adults experiencing stress, anxiety and depression, as well as those navigating life transitions, self-esteem, emotional awareness and personal growth.
I provide a safe, welcoming and non-judgemental space, using evidence-based psychological therapies. Where appropriate, I may also incorporate mindfulness and gentle sound-based relaxation practices to support relaxation, self-awareness and overall wellbeing.
My approach to counselling focuses on working collaboratively with clients to identify goals and create meaningful change. I tailor therapy to the unique needs of each person and support people to understand and address the barriers that may be preventing them from living the life they want.
I’m based in Ballina, welcoming clients from across the Northern Rivers region.
I have a diverse range of professional experience, from working within community services, private practice and within a correctional setting.
My approach works best with clients who are motivated for personal growth and are ready to engage in the process of change.
Approaches I use include:
● Meditation ● Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
● Mindfulness ● Solution Focused Therapy
● Strengths-Based Practice ● Choice Theory
● Relaxation Techniques ● Art Therapy
● Person Centred Approach ● Narrative Therapy
● Mindful Self-Compassion ● Motivational Interviewing (MI)
● Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
