Fees & Medicare Rebates

My fee for a 60 minute session is $150.00.  You may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $98.95 per session with a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) referral from your GP, reducing the gap to $51.05.  Payment is due at the end of each session by Bank Transfer, cash, Visa or Mastercard.  Please allow up to 90 minutes for your first appointment.

You do not need a GP referral to book an appointment; however, a referral is required if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate.

Medicare-Supported Sessions

With a GP MHTP referral:

• Individual counselling: Up to 10 sessions per calendar year, with a rebate of $98.95 per session. Your GP will review your progress after six sessions.

• Group therapy: Up to 10 sessions per calendar year, with a rebate of $25.25 per session.

Please obtain your GP referral prior to your first appointment to receive Medicare rebates.

Insurance

You may be able to claim some or all of your session fees through your private health insurance.  Please check with your provider to confirm your level of coverage.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact me on 0419 565 980 during business hours, ideally at least 24 hours in advance. This allows me to offer the time to someone else.  Cancellations or missed appointments with less notice may incur the full session fee.
