You may be eligible for a rebate of $84.80 per session from Medicare. This would require a Mental Health Care Plan referral from your GP.  Please ask for a half hour appointment with your GP when discussing a Mental Health Care Plan.

 

My fee for a 60-75 minute session is $149.80.  With a rebate of $84.80, the gap is $65.00.  The fee is payable at the end of each session by Visa, Mastercard or cash. Please allow up to 90 minutes for your first session.  Please note, you do not need a GP referral to book an appointment.

 

Medicare

Counselling and group sessions are supported by Medicare when you have a GP Mental Health Care Plan referral. This includes:

 

• Ten individual counselling sessions in one calendar year with a rebate of $84.80 per session. Your referring doctor will review your progress after
  six sessions.

• Ten group therapy sessions in one calendar year with a rebate of $21.65
  per session.

 

Please note, you must obtain your GP referral prior to your first counselling appointment in order to receive Medicare rebates.

 

Insurance

You may be eligible to claim from your private health insurance, but you will
need to contact your insurance provider to determine what you are covered
for. If eligible, a HICAPS facility is available for on the spot private health
insurance claims.

 

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or postpone your appointment, please call Nyesha on
0419 565 980 and give at least 24 notice, otherwise you will be charged for
the cost of the session.
